Link with the kids' other parent

You can invite a kid's other parent to KidNights. It's optional, and it only shares that kid's schedule.

Invite them

  1. Open My account, then Kids.
  2. On the kid, tap Invite Skye's mom (or dad).
  3. Type their name and email, and send.

They get an email with a link that works for 14 days. When they accept, they get their own account and plan (with a free trial), and the kid is already set up from their side: their weekends, their holidays, the same changes you've made. Nothing to upload.

What's shared, and what isn't

  • Shared: that kid's schedule and changes to it.
  • Not shared: your other kids, your spouse's kids, your trips, your notes, your papers and your family link. There's no chat.

Changing a linked kid's schedule

When either home changes the kid's dates, it's a request. The other home sees it in the bell, on Requests and in Waiting for you on the family page, and taps Approve or Decline. Once it's approved, it shows on both calendars.

You can undo an approved change. It comes off both calendars, and the other home gets an email.

Unlink

On the kid in My account > Kids, tap Unlink. Either home can do it. Each home keeps the kid's schedule as it is, and requests still waiting are closed.

If the other home deletes their account, your kid is unlinked the same way and stays on your calendar.
